or you could put a second network card on your computer that isn't wireless, then you could run a cable from your computer to your xbox, which is what i did.

just buy a cheap Linksys WRT54G and put DD-WRT firmware on it and use that as a cheap wireless connector. No need to buy the expensive Microsoft one.
