DePratt, thanks for the look out but x2o is correct, I did not state that in the first post.

I did figure that you could clearly see the box was 2 chambers and big enough to fit around the huge subs, but it's all good either way.

Your right huh, I didn't know how big these were untill I got looked at them in person.

Did you know they are actually over 16" in diameter, over a foot tall and weigh over 74 pounds each?

I wonder how big the 18" is??

That will be off cleaned once 100% dry.

The inside will be there until the cover comes off again. Then it will be cleaned up and less used n the reseal.

I guess I'm so interested to hear the subs that I'm looking past the silicone because it's not that big of a deal to me..

People the box is dual sealed chambers @ 2.1 cf for each sub
it's 4.2 cf total

I hesitated to post this here and know I remember why..

For the people with negative comments: What do your boxes look like? (bare MDF or prefab?)

I've posted that I took the initial comments the wrong way and have now looked into those ideas..

Anything that happens to the box from here on out should just make it better.

I'm a machinst but I teach some of our engineers how to design and mfj their concepts..

That sig is a good statement for a good engineer.
