wtf? Aq hdc4 sub looks different?

So about 3 weeks ago, one of my aq hdc4's decided to rip apart from the cone and surround. So I sent it back in and they said theyve never seen anything like that before but they ended up warranting it. Well today, I was excited and waited all day to get the sub and to find out it looks completely different.

I spoke to a guy from audioque and he said that theyre going to send me in a brand new one and the motor that they gave me was an accident.

How old are your subs? Maybe the newest ones are only double stack motors now.

aq did this with the hd3c it was **** near impossible to get 2 matching ones if you didn't buy at the same time.

Mine were only a couple months old. I actually looked up some aq hdc4 pictures and the old prototypes were only double stack from what I see. Even the bottom of the magnet is in very bad condition. Its scratched up pretty bad.

Lol it's "Sound Qubed"'s new warranty program. You send in your defective HDC4 and they send you back a seemingly ok HDC3. Gotta make a profit somehow...

I would call them and make them send you back your original sub and a recone or one exactly like it in working condition

I was going to call them today but the ups guy came pretty late and it was pretty much too late to call them today. Ill do it tomorrow.. kind of pissed though
