WOW second alternator died!

yeah we're not hearing the whole story here. dom's customer service is nothing short of phenomenal.

I bought a 180A Alt for about $350. It was the best audio performance I did. I went through 2 DieHard batteries, 2 Optima (1 Red Top and 1 Yellow Top) hoping that the yellow top would help, but it lasted for just over 2 years. In fact, the batteries I bought lasted only 2 years, with the OEM alt. I spent approx. $450 on just batteries alone. You could have the best of everything, but if your power supply is not enough, be ready to spend some cash (in my case) every two years.

My audio dipped to about 10.4 volts at times with the OEM 105A alt, but now, with this 180A alt. it did not dip below 12.3 volts at idle. It was a direct bolt on, no mods needed. I wish I had bought this alt earlier, before I spent the cash on the batteries. I knew that I needed to buy one, but I did what so many people did, try to fix the problem the easest way possible. IT DOES NOT WORK!!!!! As you can tell I spent approx $800, $400 went to Battery Heaven. I say to get a H.O. alternator along with the "BIG 3" first. Even with the modest aftermarket audio system an upgrade is a must, or else Battery Heven. The OEM alt. is ONLY made for your vehical's OEM products. The reserve output of the OEM alt. is not made for today's audio system.

whats your problem with Iraggi alts? Its the other way around for me, Dom will ALWAYS get my money.

never will get mine again, not after he robbed me... his product is vastly inferior, his customer service is the worst out of ANYONES (not just limited to the alternator industry, i mean anyone), he is a thief, a liar, a scammer, a crook...

i would recomend putting your money on the ground and taking a piss on it before i would recommend buying an alt from him. and one of the plus sides of doing that, after you pee on it, you can get your money back. unlike doms crappy alts.

Dom is the ish when it comes to alts. I bought a 300amp alt from him 3 months ago. It was suppose to be 300amps at 1800rpm, it turns out to be 346amps at 1800rpms.
He is also the only owner of a alt company that will answer the phone and help you with a problem. Call Ohio Gen, H/O alt, ask them if you can talk to the owner for some help. See what happens. The'll laugh at you and hang up.

My Iraggi alt just went out the other night. My falt, I told him it was my falt. I sent it in over night,and 2 days later its at my front door. The guy is the best thing that happend to alts. Go with Dom.

you could get him to answer the phone? and also, congrats on getting one of the few alts from him that works.

he is shady and sneaky, and as far as im concerned, makes the worst product ever. my "240" amp alt put out less than my 110 amp stock alt... it also died 3 times within 4 months. then he started in with the lies and whatnot...

Thats why I went local for my HO alt. Got it installed...and the voltage regulator was defective. I CALLED THE GUY...HE LET ME COME TO HIS HOUSE, where he uninstalled and replaced the voltage regulator AT 9:00 at night. put it back together, and I havent had a problem since...that was about 1.5 years ago.

well i dont know steve mead personally, and i dont know his relationship with dom. what i can tell you is that dominick irraggi ripped me off big time. he is a liar, he is a thief, he is a con man.

he lies to get what he wants, his products are crap, and it is no suprise to me at all when someone posts on here that their irraggi alt is dead. mine died 3 times within 4 months. flat out, i dont see how anyone can think he is an honest person. he took advantage of me, and i know of SEVERAL others. and quite honestly, i wish he would get on here and read this. i wish he would try to stick up for himself. but he wont, because he is a small person, who knows what he has done, and knows it is wrong...

and as far as answering the phone, he gave me his number too. never answered it. not once. never would return a phone call either. i would leave voicemails, and he was too afraid to answer them. he would hide behind emails. he is NOT a good person to do business with. period

i have an iraggi, nothing short of perfect.

he didn't personally give me his phone number..... but when i had a problem wiring the regulator, i called the number on the box and he walked me through it.

iraggi would definatly get my business in the future.

the point is rather then talking about how it went down, hoss is spending all his post *****ing and moaning about how he was ripped off, not pointing out any facts on the matter, just whining.

How did you aquire your alternator?

if i owned a business and someone was an *** i would refuse then service as well, thats your right as an american. Unlike Steve and them that you guys think have a connection with him, i dont even run Iraggi alts, but i still dont really see this whole claim on him being a scammer/thief.

eh, not for me to explain, although I got into it pretty thoroughly with hoss about this once.

I wasn't commenting on anything other then the sarcastic "what monster system" comment, and calling him a liar. other then that I couldn't care less.

well since meade is pretty well known apparently, maybe Iraggi gives him the VIP treatment since he's using meade for marketing purposes as well. I believe everything hoss has said as well. I also remember the iraggi shytstorm from about 1.5-2 years ago on this very forum where so many memberss were being ignored/ripped off/ avoided by Dom. Now all of a sudden he's a god? Doubt it.

And Ohio generator has always answered the phone for me AND helped me through all my issues and i didn't even purchase the alt from them, i bought it off of audiolife on these boards.
