brand name amp kits?

Does the quality of amp kits actually vary from a name brand to a not so name brand? i'm looking at an amp kit by a brand named Absolute. It has a complete o guage amp kit for $80, would this amp kit not be as good as an amp kit by Rockford Fosgate or JL for example, or all wire and amp kits pretty much the same?

Chances are if it's cheaper, that the wire is smaller than usual, and everything else probably isn't as good either. You get what you pay for. However, I have no idea about that specific brand.

In complete wiring kits, Kicker and Knuconceptz are the best, followed by Stinger's more expensive line (Expert?) and JL Audio.

I dont know where Absolute would fit in there but its probably a safe bet they're below JL Audio.

mostly you are paying for that brands tooling in their fancy fuse holder, other conectors, ring terminals, quality of material they use in the wire etc.

KnuKonceptz has two amp kits for 0/1 guage. one of them is the 90% aluminum (i think) and 10% copper...the other is the reg. copper one

i got a decent amp kit from street wires off ebay for like 15$. came with a distro.,2 guage power wire and 2 runs of zero noise interconnects.
