WOW second alternator died!

Its nice to hear both sides.

As for the rotor issue, that unit is right by the passenger front wheel. Any chance you missing part of the inner wheel well liner? That would cause excessive moisture. Just a thought.

I'll tell ya what.......I will swap it out for you if you find someone that is needing to buy an alternator. If their car is different from yours' date=' I will swap it out for an alt for their car. This way you can get your money back and hopefully stop all the bickering. You will be able to sell the alternator as new since we are willing to swap it out.

ill consider the offer, and i appreciate it. but i highly doubt id be willing to find a buyer willing to pay near what i did for it, seeing as the ford taurus is not a highly sought after vehicle in the mobile audio field, and most of the owners of these cars arent in the target area. but if i find a buyer, i will let you know.

i wasnt missing any of the weel liner that i was aware of, not to say its not possible. that alt is a severe PITA to change, and even after changing it several times, it was still over a one hour chore to do myself... you had to take most of the passenger side apart, and even then the alt BARELY fits in there...

i think he's saying he will swap it out for whatever.

if you find someone who needs a alty for their (insert vehicle here), Dom will swap yours for that and you can sell it for the return. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Thats why I said we would swap it out for whomever you sell the alternator too. You may want to read what I posted again.

If you find someone with an Escalade that needs an alternator and is willing to buy from you, just send me the alternator back and I will ship the new one directly to who is buying it from you. Or you can have them send it in to us to swap out. Either way. It doesnt matter to us.

It doesnt matter if you find someone with the same car as you. Just find any buyer for any vehicle that needs an alt.

Would that be anything like shipping the free small case GM you promised him for all his troubles he had before, that he also never received? Or how about the alternator you were going to give Alma Gates (in trade for the phase shifter) that she couldn't use because of her sponsors so she told you to give it to me, which I also never received after several unanswered emails (except one from Rob Eldridge from your email) and the phone that was never answered and the messages left that was never answered?

i recently purchased two alts from a local shop that are doing a combined total of 475 amps, and i paid $380 for the pair... and i have had no problem at all out of them running over 5000 watts... ...

so if you can barely fit one HO alt in there how did you get 2 230+ amp alts to fit? Pics?

It sure did get quite in here real quick.

Do you have any pics of the duals you did on your other vehicle? I love to see pics of lots of alternator installed. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
