Wow Orion Nice job.

when you understand HOW the circuity works then we can discuss. they have mostly tube amps which demonstrate the lowest damping factor.

its not solely the impedance of the circuit but its abilitly to dampen the signal and absorb the feedback. the resistance is only one part of the equation.
It's showing you how it doesn't matter. Any decent amp these days has enough to be just fine. The drivers suspension plays a larger role.

You seem to forget I compete in this stuff. As you know, to be successful as a competitor you have to be able to reproduce the source accurately. Do you think I would be doing as good as I am if I didn't accomplish that?

Do you think a 30 year judge would say I have the best stock class car he has ever judged if I didn't do it right? He didn't know what was in the trunk before he did the listening judging.

i dont want to argue. just remember the higher the motor strength and larger the stroke the more dampening you need. buter makes tube amps so they are going to try to justify that. good luck with demanding drivers ran passive.

It's funny when this thread started the XTR2500.1d was available quit a few places,, but nine pages later, the only one i can find online is from ,,, Online Car Stereo for $440 double yeks
Got one for $300 eBay best offer

Still sealed in the boxes. Waiting on my battery to get here
I need to see about doing the same thing. The last time I had two batteries, we were using isolaters and all that. Doesn't seem like guys are doing that today.

Ive seen so many amps done this way over the years. Especially ones that had the Molex plugs and a couple others

Yes, they do. As for the Taramps remote control, it is for use with the EQ they sell, not as a remote bass knob. They are not very sophisticated...
