WOW My system just got completely disrespected.... lol

Hey everbody, sorry i havent been on here I tried calling him multiple time and he never answered and unfortunately my father had to go into the hospital friday afternoon with heart complications he has 3 stints in major arteries and has been having problems with them ckosing up on him. But he is back home since 2am this morning and he is feeling better. I am gonna try to get a hold of him today. If nothing else, ill just ride up to his house and tal to his sister for a while and find out where he's at. Ill try and post something up this afternoon if i can get a hold of him.
pictures of sister?

Funny thing...I'd NEVER compare a truck system to a hatch system. A hatch is like a dang megaphone where as a truck is like a big fluffy pillow.

HX2 8" in vented/tuned box on bd1500 in my truck did high 130s and low 140s. same exact amp, sub, and box in a '96 Eclipse was in the high 150s.

Trucks are acoustically challenged, period.

high 50? an 8 doing high 50? you gotta show some proof.

i always had hatchback cause i wouldn't stand putting a system in a trunk. i didn't know trucks weren,t getting loud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

$1000???????
Half of us on here (myself included) have a single amp that cost that much (if not more) retail.

With this hobby, it's all in the eye of the beholder. To that.... To each their own.
all 4 of my cvx 12s, new, 2 sets of P162s comps, new, and my Orion 2100 HCCA and my 250 HCCA......all of that costed me about $1k. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

I'll ask him if he's got any pics from that day, he just might. Not sure, was a good few years back.

take a loud system out a hatch, slap it in a truck, and it wont be as loud. FACT. I've owned both, I've built systems in 1 and moved to another, and I have seen, felt, and heard the difference. and re-read what I said. I didnt say trucks DO NOT GET LOUD. I said hatches are louder.

...high 50's, eh?...sealed up, dash, new tl? seems highly unlikely unless you did some major work to the eclipse

A 150 db score isn't all that impossible with a single 8" woofer. Didn't Alan Dante break 150 with a single dd1508? It probably sounds like *** on music, but it can be done!
