Wiring in parallel/series?

series makes a higher ohm level therefore decreasing the power out of the amp. Paralell drops the ohm rating in half so the power is usually doubled.I could be wrong and i'm sure mmray or rangerman or zane will crrect me if so but parallel is the best way to got for bass and series is for SQ.
