So I have had 2 sets if kickers in two separate boxes for sometime now. Recently I got a guitar amp with four 12 inch speakers that I converted and took the wiring out to put in my four subwoofers. At first I did parallel wiring and now I have series going two and too. Since the kicker comp rs are set up differently I'm not sure how to wire all 4 together. So I wired them in series as a pair and did the same with the other set. They hit hard but I feel.like they could hit so much harder. My sundown amp doesn't allow me to put any more than just a grain of rice length of gain. If I turn the gain up at all it goes into protection mode and resets it. Im using 12g wire but am wondering if I double up and add another set of 12g wire throughout all the subs (each pair not all 4). Would that allow me to get more power out? Also would it be practical to have one set of speakers be in series and the other parallel? Would it allow me to turn up my gain at all? Or can these speakers simply just not handle the power of the amp? Is keeping the subs in pairs better or is there a way to wire these different types of kickers to where they're all connecting? Need insight pls n ty
