what size is your alt? and what amp(s)?

Should be getting a 200amp next week. And an ampere audio 3800. Not too sure what 4 channel yet.

IMO i think you will be fine, are you wiring to 1 ohm?

Are they decent batteries for the money? How many? Like 3-4?

Yes they're the same as the Sam's Club Duracell batteries. I have one under the hood with a 240a alt right now on a 2500w amp with no voltage drop. I'd start with 3 and see how your voltage looks after that.

since your getting a HO alt, id probly start with 2. are you leaving your stock battery under the hood?

If you have enough charging power you don't need batteries.. I run a single 55ah battery but have only .2v of drop at full tilt

What kind of battery is it? Mixing battery types usually isn't a great idea..

Just regular old battery from Walmart.

I'm not against changing it out.
