Advice please

My subwoofer only turns on when my cars engine is running. I like to go to the drive ins and would like to have some bass during the movie but I don't want to have my car running and waste gas the whole time. Is there a way I can have my subwoofer on without starting my ignition for this specific situation?

You need to attach you're remote wire on your amp to 12volt switched source where your amp will come on when the key is in the acc position.

Wire your remote turn on to a 12v source that is on when the ignition is in the ACC position. Just watch out to not run it like that for very long, or you will more than likely kill your battery

Sounds like you DID NOT WIRE YOUR REMOTE PROPERLY,OR HU.Check your wiring
