Will I regret getting my system installed at Best Buy?

they just dont take the extra care with doing a thorough job.at least when i do mine,i dont have to worry about my car catching on fire,and i have peace of mind knowing its done right.

X10 I check and recheck if i don't like how something looks i just redo it to my liking. Even when i find a better way to do something i just re do it. Best buy just want to get it in and get it gone

First off I hate when people have a bad experience and they assume all bb or cc are bad. Yes these experiences do happen just like any other job. But to me it seems both of y'all are to blame. You knew the risk and had some knowledge going into best buy. So you can't throw it all on the installer. But on their end he shouldve made sure you were satisfied on his install and tested the set up before handing it over. Yes he shouldve of fixed it as soon as possible, but if he would of checked everything you couldve of avoid this situation. I wouldve a been a dick, and told them to get on it. But I hope they solve your problem. Also why didn't you ask someone here to install it for you. Alot of us including me wouldve of done it for free. I like doing installs and meeting other people who enjoy the hobby.

I dont have anything anymore, and before you start trying to show me up and be a dumbass. Lets say ive been here longer than you, Ive been louder than you will ever be, Ive owned more equipment then you have ever.

Congrats, you work on 10 cars in the past 18 that were YOURS. You **** it up, its your problem. You **** up someone elses car, its now THEIR problem. Also they arent all easy, tell me how to take apart the dash in a mercedes, a beemer, hell even some of these newer 07-08 cars are a ***** to work on.

ok so he didnt check, he made a mistake what is all this other non sence (im not talking about you directly just in general) and side bar comments about calling corporate and stuff gotta do with the installer doing a good job, his attitude and all that stuff honestly has nothing to do with anything, he could be the most sh*t head, mean, disrespectful person but if i get the job done who cars. the RCA's were bad and he fixed them correct????????/so that should be the end of the story...all the best buy bashing because he forgot to re-check a set of out the box bad rca...........

i said the same shit two pages ago but logic apparently is wasted on the bulk of this forum my comments on check before you leave your car were made prior to the knowledge of the bad but still hold true.

Its just funny watching all these people like they have any idea what being an installer is like. You install on your own car for a hobby, they install on other peoples cars for a job. They are probably a bit more skilled than you think they are.

Now i dont know if anyone has done work on a T-Bird but Mikey B but there is almost no way you should damage a break light switch and said they would not pay for it. i have more if u want them

if i had owned any of the cars u listed,i could tell you how because i would have done research to figure it out.in my own installs,i have never blown a fuse,speaker,or had melted wires.what i learned was from my 1 and ownly mistake.im not saying im an expert by any means.bit i refuse to let anyone else install my equipment.and no matter what car i will own in the future.i have the knowledge to figure it out !
