Will I regret getting my system installed at Best Buy?

would you have someone build a desk for you with out seeing their previous work or check on their credentials or if they know how to do something of the like?

how is that the same?this guy has a job at best buy as an installer. he went to an installer to get his stuff installed.I'm going to ASSUME that a person whos "job" is to install knows how to install stuff because, as his job he is an installer. I just don't see why he should have to do anything extra. whatever you say. we all have different opinions i guess.

if i caught best buy,cuircuit city,cartronics coming close to my car.shiat would be on.the local cartronix is allways telling me crap about this and about that.i dont trust anyone that tells me i need a cap and want to charge $250 to build a box.if the job wasnt done correctly,keep taking it back until it is done right.i would have went straight to the manager and let him deal with it.if that doesnt work,call coorporate.i bet you get it done right then with discounts !

ok so he didnt check, he made a mistake what is all this other non sence (im not talking about you directly just in general) and side bar comments about calling corporate and stuff gotta do with the installer doing a good job, his attitude and all that stuff honestly has nothing to do with anything, he could be the most sh*t head, mean, disrespectful person but if i get the job done who cars. the RCA's were bad and he fixed them correct????????/so that should be the end of the story...all the best buy bashing because he forgot to re-check a set of out the box bad rca...........

why would you even go to bestbuy, WE ALL told you NOT TO. But you still did, so I dont want to say you diserved this but you kinda did. You made a thread we all told you not to and went against all of us, and even turned down someone who said they would drive to you and install it for cheaper. But you didn't listen so this is what happans..

they just dont take the extra care with doing a thorough job.at least when i do mine,i dont have to worry about my car catching on fire,and i have peace of mind knowing its done right.

The fact is they didn't even check to see if it was working correctly, that is pretty bad practice in my book.

A business should always make a customer feel confortable everytime there going to be working on someones stuff, and Best Buy should check for that before hiring dudes like this, because that aint the customers job to do, if im going to take my car in there im expecting it to be done right, professionaly.

edit - its bestbuy job to do background checks like that to see if the installer passes the standards, not the customers.

Your a ****ing tard if you let someone from this site do it. Hey guess what, if BB screws up, they pay for it. If your not happy, let them know to fix something. I dont think anyone on this site has insurance backing them up in case they **** up.
