Will different speaker wire lengths cause problems?

When i ran my speaker wires this morning one of them is alot longer than all the others. I have one speaker wire about 20ft long, another about 10ft, and the other two are about 4ft long. Will this cause problems like echo's or out of sync music? Also should i run new speaker wire to my 3.5's which arent being ran off of an amp but off of the Kenwood headunit. Would i see a noticeable difference in the quality of the sound if i ran new high quality speaker wire to the two 3.5's? Thanks in advance.

no...the resistance between the two for all practical purposes will be the same.

now, over 200 feet, maybe a different story...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Actually, I have a difference in volume between left and right channels on my home system, because one of the speaker wires is 20 ft longer. But they're 20 gage wires. As long as you used 16 gage wire you won't notce any difference.

Don't bother with the 3.5's wires.
