Well short story, my Pioneer 3002D2 12" 1000w/3500w sub-woofer mysteriously quit working.
Long story, the other day, the fuse on my audiopipe 15001d blew. Today i replaced it with a 150A fuse. I didn't know why it blew, and thought nothing of it. So, turned the amp on, and the sub does nothing. I thought, "Oh no, I wrecked my one of my new amps". However, i hooked the amps output to another sub, and the amp functions perfectly fine. So, i figured, maybe the wires in the box came disconnected. I took the squeaker out, and everything seemed fine. I then hooked the amp directly to the speaker posts, and still nothing. Finally i check the speaker posts with an ohmmeter, and when i hook them up, the ohmmeter doesn't change, it still reads "1". Each coil is supposed to be 2 ohms.
I don't know what the matter is. There is no rubbing of the coil at all, it is all smooth, heck, the sub hasn't even finished breaking in yet.(It only has about 3 hours of relatively light playing.
Any Ideas????//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/suicide.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/pissed.gif.9f665f96bc89e98e708dabd4580bb591.gif
