I would argue that the real estate market, in most areas, isnt a monopoly.

I live in an area that is "suburbanizing". Developers buy 1000 acres and has a single construction company build them all. However, niche/speciality/insurance homes...there is more competition there.

They actually do use some foreign workers though.. when its time to combine.. but they are usually from like New Zealand or South Africa and white... and here legally.

In mass suburbs, yes. Mainly because "Joe's Construction" cannot scale up to build 1000 homes. I am speculating here, but I'd suspect it is easier to developers to sole source the construction.are arguing its a noncompetative oligopoly?
