that he did. i don't know the details of that law, but it's not for a neigbor to go over there and shoot them. it's for is someone brakes into your house that you have the right to shoot them. then hell yea, if that was the case, i'd shoot away to.Did you even listen to the 911 call?
After the 911 operator begged and ordered him not to go outside, he cited a recent change in law regarding a right to shoot an intruder, and went out there with the intent of shooting them.
Okay... you shoot me in the ass and I sue you for every penny you have. Thats how the legal system works in America. It's not right, but it has happened. And to continue... lets say that anything but a fatal shot would not stop me from ruining your life. Still not going to shoot for the kill?I never condoned stealing...
haha... alright... what are you the anti-robocop? If the only way i could stop you was to shoot you.. .i still wouldn't have to shoot to kill... sh*t... you might have just been having a bad day... you need some rehab after all that... so i'd just temporarily disable you... but... lets say i called the police before i was about to shoot you... and then they said they were almost there... and right after i shot you in the butt... they saw me with a gun out pointed at you... (i'm black)... i'm down... 41 shots fired... you're disabled... i'm dead
he said he saw the crowbar and the broken window. I'm not sure (don't quote me), but i also think he said he saw them break the window.probably climbed through the window and openned the front door? why would i break the window or door? it still can have the appearance of a break in
what the f*ck?... even if u sued me... and took money from me... hell yes it would ****... but was it worth your life... NOOkay... you shoot me in the ass and I sue you for every penny you have. Reason this pisses me off so much? Friend got robbed... good bit of items in the house WERE business inventory in the process of being moved -- temporary location. They weren't covered. So, guess who gets to pay the bill on interest bearing money owed to investors? Guess what legal system let the only suspect post bail and skip town twice?
No, I don't think stuff is more valuable than a life. But, I also don't put the same value on the life of a criminal as a "regular" person.
True. He went out, told them to stop -- they didn't. From the sound of it they approached him as well. Stopping would have prevented any death that day from the sounds of it.Using a hyperbole to try to make your point, but its more like comparing apples to oranges.
The two murdered men were in no position to ruin the life of the man who shot them. He went OUT OF HIS WAY to confront and shoot them.
I guarantee 100% that your tune would change if that was real. Don't lie to yourself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifwhat the f*ck?... even if u sued me... and took money from me... hell yes it would ****... but was it worth your life... NO
Who knows. I might run if i saw some creepy fatty like that guy with a gun. In fact i am almost certain i would. And maybe if someone approached you with a gun and told you not to move or he'd kill you, you might take him seriously????
And how do you know this? This guy knew the conditions, he was very familiar with his neighbor and what was going on.
You're confusing hypotheticals and examples of why allowing this type of behavior is bad, with believing they apply specifically to this case. These weren't friends going in the window, that was obvious from the tape. He also warned them not to move or he would shoot, they moved, he shot. Didn't sound like he just went out guns blazing.
i'm not lying to myself... you have some f*cked up morals if you would really take a life because you were losing material possessions... suing for money still equals material possessions... i'd go broke and homeless if it meant someone didn't have to lose a life... why? cause i can get that sh*t back over timeI guarantee 100% that your tune would change if that was real. I already told you, several times, that i have kicked in my parent's front door. It was also within a few weeks of moving into that house, so no neighbors knew who i was.he said he saw the crowbar and the broken window. I'm not sure (don't quote me), but i also think he said he saw them break the window.
SO again, i ask, did you break a window with a crowbar or kick down a door to get in?
Well, anyone who is in the process of breaking into someone's house, stealing their ****, crawling out the window with a bag of loot and is confronted in the yard by someone with a gun tell them to stop or die.... and still chooses to run... probably can be blamed for their own death. IMNSHO.Who knows. I might run if i saw some creepy fatty like that guy with a gun. In fact i am almost certain i would.
I can't. I am a 17 year old kid (legally speaking) and actually someone stole my camera last year in photo class. Would i shoot them? No. Would I beat the living **** out of them? Yes. Do you know what would have happened to me? Expulsion. Suspension. what would have happened to him? detention most likely.i'm not lying to myself... you have some f*cked up morals if you would really take a life because you were losing material possessions... suing for money still equals material possessions... i'd go broke and homeless if it meant someone didn't have to lose a life... why? cause i can get that sh*t back over time
The law says if someone is breaking into your house and stealing your ****, then you can kill them.i'm not lying to myself... you have some f*cked up morals if you would really take a life because you were losing material possessions... suing for money still equals material possessions... i'd go broke and homeless if it meant someone didn't have to lose a life... why? cause i can get that sh*t back over time
well next time you have two black friends who need into your house, and you give them permission to break your window and grab a bunch of **** and run out... THEN you have a ****ing story.I don't expect them to just sit there; i would expect them to call the police.
Calling the police is exactly what i would expect my neighbor to do; I wouldn't expect, or want, them to kill anyone without even knowing for sure what the hell is going on.
Seriously, i have entered friends houses through an unlocked window several times with their permission.
Another example is when i got locked out of my parents house soon after moving into the neighborhood. I ended up kicking in the front door, so i could get inside. A neighbor actually did call the police and i am glad they did that instead of shooting me.
I already told you, several times, that i have kicked in my parent's front door. It was also within a few weeks of moving into that house, so no neighbors knew who i was.
Interesting point... a drawn gun by anybody probably means you're going to die... cops don't aim to mame... and ole nazi boy on the phone being told to go back inside the house was obviously watching too much lou dobbs before he went outside.Well, anyone who is in the process of breaking into someone's house, stealing their ****, crawling out the window with a bag of loot and is confronted in the yard by someone with a gun tell them to stop or die.... and still chooses to run... probably can be blamed for their own death.
