Ya know... I am personally affended that they would even say this considering all this money to get into all this debt in the first place comes from the top 1% of rich people in our country!!
They should be the ones gettin taxed out the *** to help bring this debt down. How's that for a thought... Fckin idiots...I swear the people who run this country a fckin retards.
As they say, 10% control 90% of the money.

At the current rate of inflation, other countries are going to stop using the US dollar. Thats what kicked off the Iraq war IMO. Saddam converted to the Euro in 01 or 02 (cant recall), but it keeps getting worse.

Im sure there are several countries thinking and strongly considering changing over to the Euro because of how weak the $ has gotten. Im sure Iran is a prime candidate //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I know China is right there with them, as well as Russia and Venezuela. Thats just to name a few of the obvious ones. If they do, and I really think there is a strong possability of it happening. Our dollar is going to take one hell of a hit.

So because I dont care to explain how I came to that conclusion, im ignorant? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Lets remove you from that high horse of yours for a moment.
Ill look into it, when I see it fit to. For now, I dont care. Chances are ive SEEN more then you've read, so I dont feel like getting into details about it when I just might consider the person im talking to ignorant, or just not informed enough himself. Welfare is just 1 part of scamming the government that many people employ. If I made a mistake, in my understanding of the welfare system, so be it. Ive always had the balls to admit it. Im sure it doesnt compare to the stupidity you've personally taken part in through your lifetime so lets not start calling people ignorant just yet.

Have you NOT considered that people can (and do) get paid UNDER THE TABLE? and make it seem like they're earning far less then they actually are? yet still stay on welfare? Guess what... it happens & its not like they need to prove where a few hundred dollars came from because it can be spent locally without the need to deposit it. Just because legally you cant (or wont) see or understand what im saying as possible, doesnt mean everyone plays by the set of rules you seem to understand. Thats called being naive. More people do it that way then you'd think. So if I have to spell it out, word for word exactly what I mean... I didnt think it was necessary, you should have been able to put that together yourself. Im actually disappointed in you.

...I'll leave it at that.

If you had any reading comprehension skills you might have noticed that i didn't place myself on any high horse and in fact went to great length to ensure that this was clear. Nonetheless, you still missed the obvious and mistook my post for a pompous insult.

So, since you are obviously having difficulty, lets look again at what i said.

Enjoy your life of ignorance.

Personally, i like to have at least a basic understanding of government, spending, and social policy, before i make myself look stupid on the internet.
Who am i being derogatory toward?

Why it's me!

Oh lord!

How ironic!!

What a high horse I am on!!2!

Whats next?!

Could it be that i would emphasize the fact that i am taking a jab at myself?!

No it couldn't possibly be that!

The near symmetric picture painted in the above statement was purposive.
Gasp!

Why i couldn't have been more wrong!!

In fact that is exactly what i did!

I drove home the fact that we are both doing exactly the same thing and this was my intent!

Oh noes!!

I would also like to mention the fact that your argument has shifted. The conversation you started involved the disincentive welfare provides for people to work. It was in no way encompassing of the incentive welfare provides for people seek employment outside of the legal system.

If that had been your argument, i would have demanded to know what your proposed solution to such a problem would be because it would appear that the only way to curb such a problem would be greater regulation and policing of industry, something that sounds pretty fukkin liberal to me.

I'm a little disappointed in how easily you are manipulated. I thought you would have known better by now.

Well i feel sorry for you if you seriously believe she intends to implement such a program.

It's meaningless political pandering. I like a lot of ideas, doesn't mean i would actually try to implement them if i was the president.

Ok, great that is exactly what i was hoping you would do. Provide an example i could pick apart and show the flaws in your reasoning.

Using the numbers you provided, a mother of two kids who works 15 hours a week and earns $180, would be eligible for about ZERO dollars in TANF payments in your home state of Arizona.

Should she earn $50 a week, she is likely to qualify for the TANF program. State policy requires a job search before most applicants can receive regular TANF benefits. The average TANF cash payment in Arizona was $278 a month for last year reported. That would bring her total monthly income to $478 a month for a family of three. Hardly enough to survive. Should she earn much more than $50 a week, she will lose her cash benefit.

There is also a 60 month LIFETIME time limit on benefits in Arizona (and most states).

TANF is Temporary Assistance for NEEDY Faimlies...and you have to be pretty fukkin' needy to get any money at all.

What you describe might sound nice when you hear it on Rush Limbaugh, but when you actually take a look at the programs and the people using them, it is hardly the truth.
Exactly...

I would hardly call 60 mos temporary...
I would think one year max....but meh
I believe that part of the reason for the 60 month limit is to ensure that people have enough time to pursue educational opportunities should they wish to, and that sounds reasonable to me.

I won't quibble with you but I think they should take loans instead of handouts...I borrow the money for school and pay rent. I know others that borrow for both...not really fair to those who don't fuck up their lives and do the right thing.

Futhermore, Faulkton misses state, city, families, and other giving by civic groups such as churches.
oh come on i expected much better from you.

If your going to point out flaws in my posts, at least start with how i failed to include other government funded social insurance programs like food stamps, section 8 housing, WIC, Medicaid, and earned income tax credits.

Isn't WIC, food stamps, and section 8 state funded ?
