^they both stink. Cmon Hillary. There is no emphasis on fiscal responsibility among children/teens but you want to put $5000 in their account. As soon as the kids hit 18 they'll take their money and go on a nice vacation or put a down on a car. The ghetto like will spend it on their first pound.
Well i feel sorry for you if you seriously believe she intends to implement such a program.

"I like the idea of giving every baby born in America a $5,000 account that will grow over time, so when that young person turns 18, if they have finished high school they will be able to access it to go to college," Clinton told the crowd at the Congressional Black Caucus.
It's meaningless political pandering. I like a lot of ideas, doesn't mean i would actually try to implement them if i was the president.

LOL, Ok.
Ill put it in a way thats very simple to understand.

Scenario A: You work 50 hrs a week and bring in $600.

Scenario B: You work 15 hrs a week, and bring in $180 & welfare covers the gap.

Why would you want to work the extra 35hrs if its going to amount to the same amount of $ being brought in at the end of the week?
Ok, great that is exactly what i was hoping you would do. Provide an example i could pick apart and show the flaws in your reasoning.

Using the numbers you provided, a mother of two kids who works 15 hours a week and earns $180, would be eligible for about ZERO dollars in TANF payments in your home state of Arizona.

Should she earn $50 a week, she is likely to qualify for the TANF program. State policy requires a job search before most applicants can receive regular TANF benefits. The average TANF cash payment in Arizona was $278 a month for last year reported. That would bring her total monthly income to $478 a month for a family of three. Hardly enough to survive. Should she earn much more than $50 a week, she will lose her cash benefit.

There is also a 60 month LIFETIME time limit on benefits in Arizona (and most states).

TANF is Temporary Assistance for NEEDY Faimlies...and you have to be pretty fukkin' needy to get any money at all.

What you describe might sound nice when you hear it on Rush Limbaugh, but when you actually take a look at the programs and the people using them, it is hardly the truth.

btw, faulkten, i think people just love to hate you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif lol...seems like every time you post there is some person just wanting to start crap.
I know I'm defiantly the victim.

This was getting ridiculous like 3 years ago ...
This is WAY beyond ridiculous ... I think the government should do what they should've done a long time ago ... Tell the MPAA and the RIAA that they support their constituents and their constituents are telling the MPAA and RIAA to fvck off ...
the problem is that the politicians get more money from the riaa/mpaa than they do from their constituents.

I know. She was probably surprised at the negative response because she thinks free money would get middle America eating out of her chooch.

Shes going to try to implement something though.

Hoping? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif You practically asked for it, you can be more direct next time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

As stated were examples I dont know how much person X makes or how much they could stand to receive in welfare, or whatever else is considered "aid".

Reason being, I dont pay much attention to aid of the needy. Rush Limbaugh? Sorry dont listen to him.

Perhaps you should look at this type of information before you spout off about the broad motivations of those involved.

You cant really understand the universals if you aren't even aware of at least some of the specifics.

Nice typo you caught there.

...Yawn.

In that case, ill let you deal with the financial aid section. Cant say I care enough to look into it.

Enjoy your life of ignorance.

Personally, i like to have at least a basic understanding of government, spending, and social policy, before before i make myself look stupid on the internet.

So because I dont care to explain how I came to that conclusion, im ignorant? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Lets remove you from that high horse of yours for a moment.

Ill look into it, when I see it fit to. For now, I dont care. Chances are ive SEEN more then you've read, so I dont feel like getting into details about it when I just might consider the person im talking to ignorant, or just not informed enough himself. Welfare is just 1 part of scamming the government that many people employ. If I made a mistake, in my understanding of the welfare system, so be it. Ive always had the balls to admit it. Im sure it doesnt compare to the stupidity you've personally taken part in through your lifetime so lets not start calling people ignorant just yet.

Have you NOT considered that people can (and do) get paid UNDER THE TABLE? and make it seem like they're earning far less then they actually are? yet still stay on welfare? Guess what... it happens & its not like they need to prove where a few hundred dollars came from because it can be spent locally without the need to deposit it. Just because legally you cant (or wont) see or understand what im saying as possible, doesnt mean everyone plays by the set of rules you seem to understand. Thats called being naive. More people do it that way then you'd think. So if I have to spell it out, word for word exactly what I mean... I didnt think it was necessary, you should have been able to put that together yourself. Im actually disappointed in you.

...I'll leave it at that.

“The financial mismanagement of our country by the Bush Administration should be of concern to all Americans, regardless of political persuasion.”

Ya know... I am personally affended that they would even say this considering all this money to get into all this debt in the first place comes from the top 1% of rich people in our country!!

They should be the ones gettin taxed out the *** to help bring this debt down. How's that for a thought... Fckin idiots...I swear the people who run this country a fckin retards.
