Watch any hunting show that comes on Sunday. They almost always have a segment of video where a deer will either squat or jump out of the way so the bullet or arrow does not him him. This does happen much more often w/ arrows.
Another adaptation or form of evolution is that deer have amazingly fast reflexes, speed, hearing, eyesight and ect..

I'm not saying it happens all the time but it does happen. I know the projectile wins most of the time but it does happen. Just because the bullet leaves the barrel fast does not mean it holds that speed for much time after that. It all depends on the caliber of the bullet.

I'm not talking about a 40yd shot either, that is a no brainer. I'm talking about a longer shot.

Why not drop bombs from an airplane? Then you have a better chance to hit your mark.

We are currently developing missilles that will evaporate 100s of square feet. You will be sure hit your mark then.

Which is fair. Protection and the ability to retaliate/hunt you are readily available.
Say, I felt you were consuming too many resources and thus caused harm to the general public and deemed in necessary for your (and say 100s of others) elimination. Which is the best tatic to do so?

To man up on you and we compete for those resouces and the strong prevail?

Or I cheat and shoot you from 100 yds away while you are asleep...or walking to class...or pumping gas....or at a resturant.

Then I chop off your head and mount it to my wall. Claiming to all how great I am for shooting you from 100 yds away while taking a piss.
