I have a 4.0, scored high on my SAT, and haven't had to pay a dime to attend college because of scholarships. I'm literally half Lumbee Indian, and I could give a **** about the struggles of the black man. I dont really think I do, I have my own personal experiences and not once in my life have I come across a situation where someone has been discriminated against because of being black. I have however, been involved in situations where minorities got favored even though I, or one of my freinds, were more qualified. I dont think I am racist, like I said, I haven't ever judged anybody based on their color and I give everybody equal treatment. I see what your saying tho, I know it goes on out there, but Ive never experienced it, and no matter what, you can't convince me that a kid with lower ACT scores, lower GPA, lower class rank, fewer extracurricular activities, yet has equal income deserves a scholarship just because he is black. Sorry, thats just how I feel.

I will say this, they certainly have done a fine job of redifining racism and discrmination. So if someone opposes affirmative action he or she now qualifies as a racist? I really think that is a little strong for my tastes. I know there is more to the definition that you provided but I think that is where it is headed.

It might offend their notion of fair play, but in reality it isn't a level playing field at all. Why do blacks make .64 cents on the dollar when compared to whites? Why is the rate of infant mortality higher? Why are their lifespans overall shorter? Why aren't they represented equally in higher education or the political system?

Its nice to think of yourself as unprejudiced and 'color blind', ignorantly believing everyone has equal opportunities in America. However when you look at the demographics its pretty easy to see that it isn't true. If it is true, then why do people of color seem to get the shaft? Are they biologically or culturally inferior? Why are there such discrepancies in the stats if America is just and everyone truly has the same opportunities?

I'm not defending affirmative action but to all the people who want it to end, what do you propose to close the gap? Ive never heard any better ideas (or any ideas at all) from the people who call for its end.

Ok, then give me your explanation to the things i said. Why are minorities behind in any of the things i mentioned (and a host of others)? A short one line answer is a nice way to ignore everything i actually said.

What is your proposal to try to achieve any progress? Are you basically saying you don't care? You are against efforts to increase minorities opportunities to education, so what is it you are for? More of the same?

Don't have kids and I can honestly say that i have never yelled "ballin" or "brooklyn"......In fact I've seen more white kids yell ballin than black ones. Where did I ever say anything about the struggles of the black man. And 2 be perfectly honest who gives a fuck if you're half Lumbee Indian. If I really wanted 2 get technical I could say somethings about them like half of them being alcoholics or some really weird inbreeding that has been going on but i didn't because i don't care that much. Here's a solution for you. Eliminate affirmative action. Done, gone, failed experiment. Then you want a replacement, eliminate the god-****ed welfare checks. These "poor, underpriveledged, oppressed" people would actually have to get off their dead *****, and get a job!! Oh noes!! Not a job dawg! And selling crack doesn't count as a job, unless you really want to give the IRS a cut. I think it would be an amazing turnaround in the "black culture" if this were to happen. Don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about black people here, I'm talking about the whistle blowing n**gers. There is a difference. And yes, there are also white n**gers, before someone goes and blows up on me. Hell, for that matter, there are asian n**gers, indian (dots, not feathers) n**gers, and basically any other race you can imagine. As for the native americans... I grew up next to Foxwoods and the Mohegan sun casinos. It's amazing how many people became "Native American" overnight to get their piece of the pie, and guess what they all looked like to me...a bunch of n**gers.

Oh, and one more thing. The white kids walking around like they're all "gangsta" speaking their ebonics, really need to stop. Some parents need to start beating their kids for this type of shit. It's disgraceful.
