I've had about 30 hours in a C130 sim. That big ***** is fun! Full motion! And another 20 in the A10, no full motion:crap: . How many times has the F15 actually been challenged in Air to Air combat?? Not many, however, the Mig 29 has been used by many countries in many different conflicts, so yeah, it kinda had a better chance of getting shot down.

And we will NEVER have a war without the Washington interference. This is the reason why we need to be weary of countries such as China, and Russia, and Israel. I know, they're our friends now, but they could put a serious whoopin on us if they felt the need. The problem is we try to be "ethical" in our war fighting, whereas our enemies, more often than not, couldn't care less about ethics, they're more concerned with victory.

50 hours vs 1000 posts I see your point.

Ok, so you want to reap the benefits of a free country, but at the same time do nothing to maintain that freedom. Who's the ignorant one now? So why don't you go ahead, pack your bags, and move to Iran. If the country was forced to do a draft, obviously we would be in dire need. By you turning your back and running like a little ***** to another country, you have just proven that you sir should be used as a human shield on a tank.
Since there are too many flaws in your argument to appropriately address, I'll keep it simple. First of all, I never said anything about reaping the benefits of a free country without doing anything for it, you made that up. I simply said that if a draft was enacted, I would move. I say this because, considering the amount of 'patriots' in this country, I find it hard to believe, given the current context, that we would be short of volunteers should a real war arise. I don't see how going to the sandbox would benefit my country...from my point of view it endangers us even more, but that is a whole different conversation all its own.

And I don't see where you are going with the reference to Iran. Obviously you either don't know what you are talking about, or you assume that of me...in which case you would, in turn, not know what you are talking about.

Now to my points, and counter-points:A: We went to war based on the best intelligence we had available at the time. Hind sight is always 20/20, unfortunately there is no crystal ball, like people like you seem to think there is.
I find it amazing that out of all the countries in the world, only 2 were dumb enough to act on this so-called intelligence. Yes, I know there are more than 2 countries who have troops in Iraq, but for this conversation, the ratio of non US/UK troops to US/UK troops is irrelevant. You can use the hind sight cop-out if you wish, but honestly we knew what we were getting ourselves into, nobody can honestly deny that. Read George Bush Sr's books.

B:Yes you do. If you have never experienced it, you have no clue what you're talking about so STFU.
I'll agree to disagree. Salute.

C:Low end service sector?? So, I guess in your jaded view, medical personel are low class, so are lawyers and paralegals, oh, and my favorite, aircraft maintainers(me), all of these jobs WILL net you over 100k a year as a civilian, but I guess that's low class. I dare you to tell the mechanic wrenching on the airliner you're about to step on that he's low class. That "low class" person has your life in his hands moron, get a clue.
Someone else already covered this before, so I see no need to get into detail in my own response. I will, however, say that you are making a huge generalization in an inappropriate manner. Sure, it is possible to move out of the military into a great job, but it is rare. Not everyone in the military is a medic or engineer...if they were, we would have no infantry.

D:It's called doing what you're told. You have the right to refuse orders if they are unlawful, otherwise, get over it. And from your draft dodging comments I can already tell you are not as mature as you think you are since you refuse to live up to your responsibilities as a citizen of the United States. At the age of 18 you are required to register with selective service. If they feel like calling you up to serve, pack your bags, but don't pack too much because we're gonna give you all the clothes you need. If you haven't done it yet, that is a federal offense, and you can go to jail.
Right, do what youre told = Blind execution of orders from the top down.

Once again you bring up the fact that I hypothetically am not living upto my responsibilites as an American. Wow. Are you familiar with the second amendment? I don't have to be a part of the military to defend my country, or as I would like to say, my home. If, in the rare instance, we were being attacked on home soil, I would be more than prepared to join my fellow countrymen as a militia...something the Iraqi people are doing right now, except we call them terrorists, not patriots. Furthermore, I pay taxes, I donate my time to charity events, I attend political events as a registered republican, I participate in my communities political realm, etc. I don't see how I am not living up to my responsibilities as an American...I could be sitting on my *** playing video games and watching ****, but I'm not.

So basically, keep running your mouth. Because real men and women, that have a clue, are the ones that have provided you the right to do so. But God help you if they do reinstate the draft and you try to dodge it. Enjoying freedoms you did nothing to attain, and refuse to defend should be criminal.
Once again you bring this point up again, you sound like a broken record. Since I think I've covered my ground as well as I can for a post on a caraudio board (if you'd like to discuss things over AIM or something I'd be more than happy to do so and post the transcript wherever you see fit) I'll stop at this: Everyone in this nation is born without having done anything to 'attain' freedom, we live to preserve it. Now, I may not be fighting on the battlefield in Iraq, but I'll be ****ed if I let someone tell me I'm not doing my part. A draft, I view, is purely against a true American policy...if you disagree with me that is fine, this IS America and you have the right to...all I ask is that you do so in a professional manner rather than concluding rediculous allegations about someone you've never had a true face to face discussion with. I know you're in the military and I respect that, I respect everyone who chooses to be a part of that...your Fox News baseless paranoid propaganda does not apply to me. I never said I refused to defend my country, but if a draft was truly enacted, well, it just wouldn't be America anymore.

The problem is, just like in Vietnam, the whiny *****es in congress are trying to run the war. Let the Generals do it.
Yeah, like Colin Powell. Wait, who listened to him? Nobody. Interesting.

the draft wont happen unless were getting our ***** handed to us in a war

like we did in veitnam...So Chill.......

But by the looks of it we are doing so much outsourcing maybe we

should just hire an army to die for us lol

Arrested development is great. It makes me sad that its not in production anymore //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

An amazing show, lots of people didnt get the humor because it didnt have a laugh track. Overall one of the best comedies on TV ever IMO. Mitchell Hurwitz

is a genious.

I think HBO or Showtime was gonna pick it up but Hurwitz didnt think he could keep the show and fresh and funny as he did. Too bad...

Matthew Borghese - All Headline News Staff Writer

Minneapolis, MN (AHN) - A wild turkey burst through the window at a home in Bloomington, and one family says its simply not funny.

Thanksgiving morning, the turkey smashed into the Cobbs' family dining room window, where Sandy says, "It's terrible. My house is a disaster!"

"Everybody thinks it's funny, but it's not. I just couldn't believe it was Thanksgiving and there was a live turkey in my house."

What's even more coincidental is that this was the second time such a thing has happened during the holidays.

According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the first turkey attack came on Christmas Day 2004, confirmed Bloomington police Sgt. Mike Roepke. Sandy and Bill Cobbs were at their daughter's home that day and the neighbors called after seeing a hole in the same dining room window about 16 feet above the ground.

This year, Sandy explains, "at first I thought my buffet fell over. It was so loud and kept crashing. I went in there and said, 'Not again. Not again.' He was huge - two or three feet tall."

"I ran out the door. I grabbed the car and started driving to find my husband. I found him and jumped out and said, 'I'll take the dogs. You go home. There's a turkey in the house.'"

The turkey ended up doing an estimated $10,000 in damage to the window, carpet, and dining room.
turkeys are fed up and they ain't takin no more shit.
