I'm bored and wondering, what do you think is the biggest threat facing America?
way to many speed freaks around hereI don't know about the rest of the country but meth is much bigger around here than crack is.
Crack's popularity came and went but the crystal freaks stayed loyal to their master //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
that is because there were no 'right' reasons in the first placeWe are in Iraq for all the wrong reasons
come on, innocent lives are not payment for the government's actions. if our current administration was harmed or killed in a terrorist attack that would be different...but me, you, and *some* other people are helpless. you know, the majority of this country did not vote for Bush...and even less support him now.so if and when we have another terrorist attack we will have deserved it for all the lies our government has told the world...What ever bad happens to us,we deserve it - our government has not done the right thing
because all of our resources are overseas...Why did out government leave its own people high and dry after Katrina?
because saving money and giving yourself a $400 million bonus is more important than the lives of those who work for you...Why dont we american companys build anything in the US anymore?
because they have a better work ethic than people in America. they work harder, they work longer, they work for less. and dare I say, they're smarter than americans on the average. Why are all out support people in India?
because the Japanese are smart. they make a good product. wait, they make a better product. Why are japanese cars made in the USA but the american cars are made in canada?
so the conservatives can twist truths and make it seem like the left's claim that big oil business does not have the people's interests in mind is bogus. and yes they are.why do gas priced drop at election time? are they that controlable?
I can give you some commentary on this. No, they arent controllable. Nobody can say for certain why they are coming down right now. Gas prices coming down is NOT even necessarily a good thing for our economic outlook. Anybody who has even taken an elementary economics course knows the concept of demand. When demand goes down, prices go down. The decrease in oil right now could very well signal that the demand for oil has gone down which, if true, means our economy could be slowing down: signalling a possible recession. If you are somehow trying to relate gas coming down at this with some rightwing conspiracy to win votes, you are wrong.why do gas priced drop at election time? are they that controlable?
X2 !!!!Right now i'd say our own government and our lack of solidarity as viewed from the outside in is our greatest threat.-
......In the next 10 years I am definitely with Slammed on this - CHINA will be a huge problem for the United States in the years to come; we will have to compete with them on an increasingly frequent basis for the world's resources(tangible&intangible) and with their sheer capacity for growth not to mention their raw hunger for advancement we will have ourselves one hell of a rival. Did I mention they are fiercly nationalistic...? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

It is my sincere hope that come time we will somehow have seriously reigned in our governments SERIOUS mismanagement of fiscal policy. As we speak we are leveraging the house with the help of China et al via Bonds, and the level of government spending is just sickening!
- We need to get our house in order or we will simply not be prepared. The End.
