I am using my factory stereo with a passive line out converter and I am using a skar IX-12 and I am over powering it by 100 watts
Turn it down once it starts making noises like that.Do you have any tips for properly tuning my amplifier
I would start off by visually inspecting the sub. Play those same songs while looking, listening, and feeling the box and sub. I have fixed a few boxes that became loose that sounded just like yours. On another occasion it was a loose magnet that sounded like that.
