i had a kid the other day that wants to buy a box from me that is built for 2 12" powerbass xs12d's and i told him how high it metered in my car(144.1 on tl) so the kid proceeds to tell me he is going to cut 2 more holes in box for and extra 2 12"s and he wants to put 4 cvx 12"s in it and he asked me if he would hit 180 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif he is a bit special if you cant tell. i told him he would be mid to high 140's with it(possibly)

needless to say something came up and he couldnt buy my box(oh well)

I just ignore people like that... Next I am waiting for one of my friends to hear my single dd 10 in the Civic and tell me that I should have use my JL Audios instead....

I have a lot of people that want a 60 x 4 radio instead of the 50 x 4 in the wall...

I walk them over to a memphis m class 300x1 and show them a 300 watt amp...and then I ask how a radio that is 1/4 the size of the amp does the same amount of power...through a 16 gauge power wire?

I hear that SOOOO much.

When I had my white truck I'd go sit them in it and hit them with a 160 at 35 hz then they'd say it was so much louder then their friends...and I'd say yep...and I can't even blow a window out

LOL my friend at work was comparing my mmats d2100.2 to other bigger amps in physical size when he saw it he was like nah man that thing is to small and it doesnt even weight nothing i doubt it'll do 1500 watts, 2 weeks ago when i was done with my install i brought him over to hear it .. he was like '' i aint gonna lie that shi*t is loud now im a believer'' LOL!!

if your window blows out then it was installed incorrectly or it was cracked really badly already

I gave up on talking to people about car audio because of stuff like this. The way I see it...I'm only at a very high advantage over people when it comes to car audio and it is not my duty to enlighten people to me level.
