okay so i got a KENWOOD KAC-9104D 1800watt max 900rms. 500RMS at 4ohm, 900rms at 2ohm and 900rms regulated at 1ohm.

i hooked it up and it blows fusses like crazy, and it cuts off sometimes.

i have 2 Pioneer Premier TS-W1207D

12" 1200W Dual 4-Ohm Subwoofer wired down to 2-ohm.

What size power wire and fuse you using Broseph?

i have a kac8452 4 channel amp that did the same exact thing. Its either a loose ground, or the power is touching the ground. hook it up to another vehicle and see if it does the same thing. isolate the problem.

the power wire is the one that connects to the batt connection of the amp the ground wire is the one that goes to the ground. now turd asked a good question what size wire how long and what size fuse it it?

ok completely disconnect the amp have no wires hooked up at all. make sure the fuse at the batt is out. now go back and hook up one wire at a time make sure nothing is where it's not suppose to be, no loose stands etc. make sure your gound is a good solid ground. do not hook up rca's or subs yet. now after everyting is done put the fuse in and tell us wat happens

WELL I DID WHAT U SAID AND THE AMP POWERS UP, BUT SINCE THE RCA AND SUBS WERE NOT HOOKED UP , NO SOUND CAME OUT FROM IT , BUT THEN I WENT AND HOOKED EVERYTHING UP AND IT BLEW 3 FUSES TOO, when i put in the fuse it made a spark sound //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

It would be cheaper, it might be easier to find a place to mount it, and you would have a ton of options if you just do two, 3 slot fuse holders...

My bad, yes, I read them each as having two 4ohm coils. The JBL diagram left a bit to be desired, IMO. ;) And a double yes, thought U was talking...

I plan on getting the fuse to run as a front sub/midbass in my kick panels...I've heard they sound good but you definitely wont get mirror shaking...

Sounds like a bad ground or wiring problem on the 12v+ side.
