Why are mixing sub brands "bad"?

not only cancellation but that is not even proper airspace. but the type r's in a 4.0-4.5 ported to 32-34. give it some decent power and u will be happy

I want to have my two 12 w3's in two 1.25^3 sealed boxes while haveing my two 12 Type R's in two .88^3 sealed boxes. Why would this be "bad"? Or would it? Is anyone here running a setup with mixed subs? Thanks
just dont understand the purpose of 2 seperate boxes with 2 sets of subs, while u can have 1 nice built box for a pair of subs that u can get to sound good

unless you have them crossed over to play certain frequencies that don't overlap you're causing cancellation and yes it is kinda ghetto and ghey. Just get one good sub and call it a day.
