Who's system first made you want to get into car audio

my cousins system got me interested and then what really took was when i went to my first car audio/tuner show. i sat in a demo van with 18 12's, thats when i fell in love so to speak lol

the system that made me want to, and the sound ive been trying to achieve in the 8 yrs ive been into audio, was all in a 92 mustang that my cousin had. i was 16 at the time. in like 2000 he had 2 crossfire 12's sealed, orion comps, 2 US amps and a set of 6x9's for the rear running off and old school alpine deck. cant for the life of me remember which alpine, even though i owned one about 6 years ago. i completely forgot which model it was.

this setup sounded so amazing even though, other than the amps, nothing was exactly top dollar. at least i dont think, not sure how good orion comps and crossfire subs were then. it got loud when you wanted to and sounded amazing to boot. in the years ive been into audio i havent been able to come close to how that sounded nor heard a setup that was better. i blame him and that car for my audio addiction.

That's what had me puzzeled. I was the first in my town to own a 1st gen L7, that was back in '00 or '01? Cody, aka 812XXXXXX, is 17 so 13 years ago (which puts him at 4 yrs old) it would've been '96. Good catch!

didnt make me get into it, but that sound is what i've been striving for ever since until this day..

2x bd1000.1's and 4x RF 10" HX2's sealed.. cleanest system i've ever heard... anything you played pounded, from long bass notes on rap songs to the quick drum on heavy metal... made your hair stand up inside, and outside the car.. .would have killed on bassrace... that car could be @half volume, and it would be loud inside the neighbors house across the street

a friends 85 cutlass, had 1 fosgate punch 18"dvc running on 2 ppi art 600a2's and all(the much older) mb quarts compa running on a ppi art 400a4.

This kid down the street from me would always drive by in his 90 Caprice with who knows what in the trunk. My house would shake and the pictures on my walls would go crooked. That was probably about 10 years ago and that's when I decided I wanted a Caprice and a lot of car audio to go along with it.

I dont know if this got me into car audio, but the first setup I heard was 2 8" kenwoods on a 400 watt no name amp in like a geo storm or dodge omni or something back in high school, I liked it

My addiction started at the Canfield Swap Meet when I was 13 (so 12 years ago). Saw a purple Camaro T-Top, dropped on gold Dayton's. It was walled with 6 Hifonics Olympian Warrior subs and Hifonics amps. That thing was loud. Made my jaw drop.

the first time i ever heard bass was about 5 years ago (I was about 12). My cousin had 2 12" RF punch subs and a 600 watt amp. It was a regular cab pickup with the subs right behind the seat. I thought it was so insane. Then once my brother got his car about 3 years ago, and got a system, i've wanted one ever since. I got my first system last year. And now my current one is the loudest i've ever heard. lol

First system i heard was 2 10in bazookas tubes in an explorer...was very loud surprisingly but i think it was because it was an explorer but what hooked me was my now cousin had a 15in Hx2 in an integra on a BD1000.1 shook my brains out and i've been addicted ever since
