Who Has Limo Tint on their cars.....any Legal Problems yet?

i have 5% all around(soon to be double 5%) and 5% on my entire windshield, no problems yet...cops dont care in Florida really, unless they are jerks. ive posted pics on here somewhere if u wanna see just search my posts, cuase im at school and cant post pics now...but its dark!

Anything darker than 35% on a windshield is retarted, and so is double 5% on the sides. Im surprised you found a shop that would do either.

5% on the windshield? i have 5 all around, and i have to roll my windows down on some instances to see. I cant even imagine 5% on my windshield.

i get FOLLOWED with my limo tint by cops, so if you have a stand out ride then you might have probs if not then dont worry. FYI

have 15% all around except front windshield (which doesn't even have the strip). never had a problem once even with cops rolling right by me. i'm thinking about going a lil darker cuz during the day you can see thru it or if you park by a light pole at night it's easy to see thru.

oh and we don't have inspections here.

in IL i dont know if you knew this but the windows from driver back can be spraypainted for all they care but no tint up front... i have 5 in the back and 35 up front and haven't caught any shit yet

nobody cares about your pvssy tint, its for limo all around not just back windows, you can do back windows everywhere....

ny sucks, ive been hassled twice in 4 monthes for having a 35/20% combo, and having a 5% tint strip too low...wtf do they care about that? it goes like an inch under the rear view mirror, so its not like its affecting anything except the sun coming into my eyes. but yea, tint was the best investment ive made to my car.

Alright I live in IL in the Chicago suburbs. I have 35% up front and 5% limo in the rear. Been pulled over once and was given a warning to remove the tints. I didnt and now have to roll the front windows down everytime I see a cop. Anything up front is illegal in IL. You can go as dark as you want in the rear. Hell paint the **** windows black and I dont think they will care.

I just got this truck and I am going with 20% on the fronts, 5% on the back two doors and back glass.

lol ... a reason i havent gotten tints are because of tickets .. NY cops are pure assholes .. i mean some black cop (not to be racist) pulled me over doing 55 in a 50 zone .. and he took like 30mins trying to make up a number that i was going at which was 70. luckily i had passengers in my car. I know factory is legal in ny .. anything else is tickets .. maybe i might get away with 35% all around
