Who Has Limo Tint on their cars.....any Legal Problems yet?

5% all around except windshield. no problems yet.

if your worried about it, tint up to an inch below the window edge. their little machines hang over the edge, and if you have an inch of room its just reading clear glass. get yourself some of those rain shields to cover up the inch gap when your windows are up. personally..i think it would look stupid. but its a way around it.

In NY you can have any % on the rear windsield, rear doors or rear side glass, NONE on front doors and can have a strip 6" down on the windshield. I just did mine this weekend on my project vehicle in extreme limo dark 2.5% made by gilafilms.com //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif SEXY !!!!! Just talked to my friend whos a police officer and he said colors are ok but the mirror tint is illegal.

yea i got 5% on front windows and 2% all the rest except windshield and its illegal to tint front windows in FL i think

i always thought this too, untill i got pulled over twice and they both told me that you cant have ANY tint except for the little windows in the back of a sedan. looked it up, and they were right, 70% all around...

edit: i have 35% / 20% in all back windows...nothing compared to some of you

im going back and having 5% put on the front and 5% over the 20% factory a long with either 50% windsheild or a 5% strip on the top. im tired of people looking in my car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif . the only person who has a problem with it is my mom cause she says being in my car is so depressing cause of how Dark it is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I looked that up on the internet as well it said 70% on front and rear doors, I called the DMV today and they told me NO you cannot have anything on the front windows only stock and you can have any tint % the rear doors and rear windshield, she also stated it can only be 6" down from the center of the windshield, she said it can be tapered down below 6" on the sides which doesnt make sense but what the hell //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Colors are legal except for mirror tint. She said if what you were saying is true than those new vehicles with stock tint on the rear doors would all be illegal She said I should stop down and get a sticker for the car I just tinted just in case they change the laws again it would be fathered in so I wouldnt have to take it off.

illegal to tint windshield anywhere u tard.

the fronts can be 28% i think is legal...backs are like 15%

my front side windows are .25%

rear doors back are .05%
