WHIS HAS MORE SPL ? 1 15" Cerwin Vega Stroker , Or 2 12" Alpine Type R's? MORE BASS??

I will see if others chime in on this before I say anything more.
I don't think too many used the Vega back in the day because of the way it looked (red V-flex surround). Most like the traditional look, but sometimes sacrificing a great loud sub. They were used in dB Drag.

Thanx for understanding. This car audio can be very competitive, especially if you do compete. I have been competing since 94 with 28 trophies for Show & Sound, so I do have a very competitive streak in car audio and in life generally.

A 15" Stroker in the right ported enclosure in a hatchback will more than likely smoke 2 12" Type R in a trunk both in SPL metering and daily driving bass.

In all seriousness......unless you've heard the Type R's in a good setup (i.e. something like Spkrman's), it really is hard to believe that the Type R's are capable of what they are capable of.
