I am new to this. please help i have a couple different setups to choose fromj at my disposal. I am driving a 2007 dodge magnum which has a hatch back. i am debating on using 2 alpine type R 4th generation 12s in a ported box or 2 alpine type R 5th generation 10s in a ported box. both are dual 4 ohm setups. i have 2 alpine 1000 watt mono block amps which i am going to use 1 amp to each sub at 2 ohms pushing 1000 watts rms. my question is do i go with the 10s or 12s im looking for loud and low bass. i guess which will push out more SPL?? i know the newer 10s are more powerful but will they hit harder, louder and lower than the older 12s? please any input would be greatly appreciated.
