which subs and amp?

i was thinking of getting 3 15" L7's in a ported box w/ 1 eclipse DA-7232 or 3 jbl 1200.1, i was wondering if thats to much power running to the subs, or i was goin to get 2 15" re XXX in a sealed box w/ either 2 jbl amps or a better audio, which would you prefer? and i was thinking if i should get a new battery and alternator, what do u think?

yup you would need new battery and alternator if you go witha nything more then just 1 jbl 1200.1. yes id say 3 1200.1's on 3 l7's is to much. they tend to blow with over 1000w from what ive heard. i think the 2 xxx's would be best with 2 1200.1's.

You can get 2 12" XXX's for ~$700....
Call/email RE and they will give you direct pricing...

It is better to break in subs. But, you can just blast them from the start... if you want them to blow up early.

no im not using that scam for the system because first of all it is dumb and second of all i dont think it would work, but ihave about 8000 or so in my bank and im getting a job soon so thats what ill be paying with for my car and system.

well i now decided on 1 15" XXX sub ported, and either a BEtter Audio amp or the RE amp and a stinger alternator and yellow top optima battery. With a Pioner HU w/ a 7" lcd screen and DVD/CD player and either kicker componenets or Audiobahn powred by a jbl 80.2. Does this sound like a good set-up??

i dont know what car but i want either a 96-97 cadillac seville or a 97 olds aurora, and im going to tint the windows, with the navigation doesnt that cost alot of money?? how is the picture quality of it and its features?

dont quote me (the prices im sure have changed some) but i payed $600 extra for the NAV.

it may be cheeper now days...
