Which Sub to get?

Hey I was wondering what you guys think is better for my 2001 Altima. It already has amped Alpine Type R speakers in it.

Ported or sealed? SPL or SQ?

Loud I would pick the Alpine. If you wanted to get louder, a ported enclosure would help. Either way they both are great subs. They type R is just a louder sub then the RL-i.

if you chose rl-i go sealed. if you choose the type r go ported.

A cousin of mine has a 10" R in a ported box and it sounds real good!

600 watts would be good for a type r.

Get the 12"Alpine Type R! Give it around 600-750 watts.
