ok. i have an orion 800.2 puts out 800 rms x1 @ 4 ohms. 400 x 2 @ 2 ohms. i want to know what would be the best setup for me? i listen to mostly rock/metal, but obviously want to impress people with rap from time to time. i like the lows to hit really clean, so the bass drum kicks really hard, and you can hear the bass guitar, but it isn't overpowering. usually i put my crossovers at about 60-70 hz. sometimes a bit higher. anyway, i want to be loud, but sq is more important. i was looking at one 12" alpine type x. but i'm pretty much open to anything. btw, i'll probably want to run it in a sealed box, but i guess i'm open to ported as well.

The 18" Maw is a good idea.

RD Sonance 18, if you're looking at 18's and want quality.

If you're looking more towards 12's - the Alpine sounds decent. Could consider an FI Q, SI Mag, RE SE, IDMaxx, RD Sonance
