Which Sub is best for 2000+ watts amp?

I am looking to buy a SQ sub that is pretty loud also..

I have a JBL 2200.1 amp which does 2470 watts rms at 4ohms and 2020 watts rms at 1 ohms.

My budget $300~500

One 15's or Two 12's or any suggestions?

Its going inside a 2005 maxima or 2004 TL.

i dont know if any sq subs that need 2000 watts.

Would a RE MT 15 or RE XXX05 work with this amp?

And what does this mean? Does it mean 1810watts stable at 1ohm?

I am a newbie so what does the 4ohms:1810x1@1ohms mean? 1 ohm stable?

the XXX is an SQ sub, more sql.... that seems to be what your looking for.

the MT bangs and sounds decent if all you listen to is rap.

if you want sq, get a higher end eclipse sub (maybe the TI's) or eve a tc sounds sub.

2 12" SI Mags sound right up your alley, 15" XXX's are nice, are you talking new ones or the older model?

hm im not sure but I wonder if the new xxx would get louder off of 2kw versus the old one....I think that would make my choice, also the difference in price.

Like mentioned above, why not just match it up with the gti subs. Very nice subs.

diamond D6 can take it. it also has good sound quality and get can get loud.

wait your amp does less power at 1 ohm then 4 ohms? i'd get an old xxx or barahma if you could find one
