Which sub hits harder?

cvx can get low. but need a massive box... published specs do not tell the truth.

published spl @1w/m or other standard, to me, for sub-woofers, the lower the number the more bass heavy the speaker it is. thus a bass heavy speaker sounds better than a louder speaker. as said, it may not blend as well at the high freq. but overall the bass is more defined and all round better sounding.

d3's will sound better & a pair +more power can be louder than a cvx.

if you want all out spl the cvx will take more abuse...

my .02 a pair of d3 over cvx any day

really: its all in the install. took me 5 boxes to get my tc oem 10 to sound how i wanted it.(from .3 sealed to 1.0 sealed to 1.8@28/32/40. currently a dual chamber bass reflex or ABC box 0.67@33 is the sweet spot...

Sensitivity: 89.0 we don't know if the sens is measured at 1/1w. second off freq response doesn't tell the range of a sub we need fs and im telling u by experience the cvx doesn't get low, i have had songs where whole low notes wouldn't play in 3 diff boxes and swapped se's in and they played fine. also in all 3 boxes both cvx's had a weird pinging noise i hated.
Most makers ref 1/1M on specs like that.
