Which setting for subsonic filter

I have 2 amps and both have subsonic filter.

1 amp will drive subs in a ported box tuned around 30-35hz, so from reading the forum I gather that it should be set anywhere from 20-30hz ?

The other amp is 4 channel and will drive components up front and coaxials in the back, do you use the subsonic filter for that ? or should it be turned all the way down ?

Is subsonic filter only for subs ?

subsonic filter just filter out frequency's which are useless. In other words, frequencies that your subs cant produce. I would use a test tone and see where you get excursion but no sound. Start high and go low and set it that way. For mids, i use my highpass filter...

well the high pass is somewhat a subsonic. I filters out lows. A sub is already lowpassed but we need to filter out the "too" low frequencies also. I would say yes to both. Filters are designed to protect speakers from frequencies they were never meant to produce, or that can damage them.
