Which set of componenets should I choose?

Great speakers for the money. I would say good choice.

Are those the new models? They changed them up this year. I don't know for sure, but they look like the new ones. Maybe Don can tell us for sure.

Yeah they are the new ones this is what 3.5max told me in a message

"Basically the SLC265 NG is the newer SLC set that has the new cal25 tweeter, xover and new mid with cast frame and paper cone."

A few dealers post on these forums so I plan on buying it straight from one of them.

Send 3.5Max6spd a PM if you are interested.

A buddy of mine has the Coax Sound Line and they sound awesome! I would like to get the components as well. Does that price include shipping?

Not trying to hijack the thread, but there are 3 different versions of the Sound Line 6.5":

SAC 265.25

SLC 265 Kick

SLC 265.25 NG

Can someone explain the differences real quick?

Thanks

Its cool man

I want to talk about all the differnt versions as well

From what I understand the NG's have a paper cone while the 265.25's have an aluminum cone (they are a bit more expensive)

I am not sure about the kicks....

All the SLC sets use paper cones. The Kicks are an upgraded version of the 265.25s, it comes with Rainbow's KickBass driver which produces 1.5x the amount of sound supposedly, but it has to be used with a high pass filter set at 80hz with a minimum 12 db/octave slope. I love my Kicks, they sound amazing and take the ~110 watts from my SAX 100.2 like it was nothing.
