Which DSP?

I am running a active front stage and **** at adjusting it. I am considering one of these to help with everything. Which do you think would be better and why. I need to balance performance with ease of use.

Based on things I have read about them, JBL MS-8 is probably the best among the processors that tune themselves. It also has its own implementation of surround sound called Logic 7, in case if you need to use center channel speaker or rear speakers. Audison Bit one, Pioneer dex-p99rs, and similar are best for people who like to tune everything on their own.

Of course you would tell me the most expensive lol. I would like to keep the ability to make changes manually if possible, but would like the processor to get me in the ball park. I really **** at this active ****!

I've heard good things about the Alpine Imprint. It's basically just a somewhat upgraded version of the DSP that used to come stock with every Alpine HU, when they were twice the cost of all the competition.

MS8 cant be touched for now...

But id get something from Audio Control if you dont want to shell out 600+ on the JBL..

Get a nice HU with the controls u want. Much easier running active from the HU than the amp or any rear mounted processor.

Excluding the MS8 auto tune but u can't adjust it which is what pushed me away from it.

Those with enough patience may consider waiting a little bit for a good sale on JBL MS-8 processors or buy used. Last year around Thanksgiving, several online vendors were offering JBL MS-8 for around $500 shipped.

I'm not saying to choose it over the pieces that you mentioned, but at least research and consider the miniDSP. It could save you a ton of money.

The Mini DSP is def a nice choice. Only downfall is u can't tune on the go.

I hear RF has a new three sixty processor coming out with auto tune and still allows u to tweak.
