which calling card should i get?

hey my girlfriend is going to texas for a month for the summer. we live in california. last year, i racked up 2000 dollars on my cingular cell phone bill like a dumbass. this year, imma be smarter about it and get ourselves calling cards. the thing is i have no experience in using them and dont know which ones are good and worth it. should i get one that has a free connection fee but is 1.5 cents a minute or should i get the one that is 1 cent a minute but with a 60-cent connection fee?

get one with no activation fee, or connection fee or any other hidden fee's and you should be good. 1 cent per min ones are good or half a cent.

yea i was a moron. basically i got two cell phones on a family plan.. i thought i could give one to my girlfriend and we could take advantage of the MOBILE TO MOBILE feature. apparently, mobile to mobile doesnt apply when you take a phone out of state on a certain plan and its called extended region roaming doing so and costs a fuccing grip and i was unaware of it becuz my girlfriend didnt realize there was a certain reason the phone said EXTENDED.

yea i paid the 2000. it wasnt last year it was like three years ago actually. and i just paid half of it for a settlement about three months ago. they got tired of me not paying it and they said just pay half and theyll take it off my credit.
