What type of 10" sub should I buy and what kind of amp should I power it with???

Looking to run at 1000w RMS and around no more than 3500w peak power.

Putting them in My small ca, that has a 10" custom fiberglass enclosure already that I'm installing the sub in. Also not trying to spend over $300-$400.

Any opinions and other Options are greatly Appreciated!!

Is the box sealed or ported? What size is it?

It's like 10"x18" tube like fiberglass enclosure and it's where the spare would be facing up toward my rear window since it's a hatchback.

Lol, the best is before a demo my system gets compared to some kids brothers boss system. Bitch I will smack you. Then they understand. Op, budget on amp and wire? Look at the classified section. Really should base your box on the soon, not the other way around but you can find something that's going to work.

What's your goal?

The enclosure is in my hatch and were the spare would be and the sub sits upwards towards my rear window, the enclosure is 9" on top where the sub goes and stays circle for 18" to back of the enclosure.

Soundqubed hds10, 1200wrms 129 shipped. Ct sounds 1400d1, don't the price on that, someone on here will though.

oem or aftermarket deck? do you have any of the cabling in the car or just the box? If you have access to packing peanuts you could fill the box with the peanuts then transfer the peanuts to a square cardboard box and get an approximation of internal volume. I also am guessing its not ported.

Just got my ICON 10 installed and I'm very happy with its output. Also seems to perform admirably regardless of whether it's in a sealed or ported enclosure or size of said enclosure. Would probably do well as a drop-in solution for you. Don't worry about the 1250W rating as I've only got 750W for it and it still does well.

you should buy my subs. i have two 10 inch alpien type r's the black cone version (latest generation) that is 1000 watts RMS with 3000 peak.
