static interference when adjusting gain or volume .

Ok guys maybe I'm missing something. Ok I put my ppi sedona 850.1 in the other night. While adjusting the gain I noticed it started making my alpine hu distort my interior speakers. Changed out my hu to make sure it wasn't a hu problem. Now my double din jensen does it but it is more of a static sound now. I'm thinking it could be my ground maybe. I used the same ground as my fuel pump. It's a 2-2 1/2 inch bolt that goes thru my trunk pan into the frame I assume. I also have a cheap *** pair of rcas because all my good ones are still in my explorer and I wanted a little bumb. Any help is greatly appreciated as this is the first time I have ran into this and I have installed my fair share of system.

disconnect amp and see if speakers still make noise. double check all connections and try a different set of rca's.
