Okay iv owned my share of dc's,dd's, fi's and all that good stuff for next year i was thinking of something alittle diffrent I have 2 18inch xl's and im thinking of 9 pioneer ts-w30002, or i was thinking 9 mtx ts85 sqaures, is there any other cheap mainstream sub that you guys can think of that would be nasty for 9 12's this will all be on a dc9k amp or 12k

the goal is a groundpounder that builds up a sh*t load of pressure and 9 12's is the most square inches of sub i can fit in my 05 escalade with keeping the 2nd row

its gonna be 3 rows of 3, ports on the side all facing up 1.5mdf fiberglassed inside tuned to 35hz I think im going with the ts85's just because there sqaures and they have a decent motor on them

SA is mainstream now?? lol! Budget? You can get super cheap "mainstream" subs like Kicker, Dual, Boss, Crunch, Autotek..... Better mainstream, Type R's, Rockford T1/T2's, Pioneer..

For good mainsteam subs, Id say pioneer 3002 or some db drive k9 subs. Ive heard both, they get pretty loud.

Is the pioneer 5000spl in your budget? Those get extremely loud and sound clean while doing so too. If you get those, you dont have to do 12 of them. lol

im just curious as to how Kicker subs are more comparable to Dual and Boss than Rockford and Alpine??

If you want to go 10's instead of 12's here's a real good idea.. At least look into these. Has a pair a few years back and they can handle some good power, do good xmax, and sound great doing it. The price on these are great too! These are sold in 3's perhaps ask for a better deal for 9 of em. Though sounds your set on 12's. At least check em out..
