I have a Alpine MRD-M605 that is capable of 683w@2ohms rms. I have two sealed boxes that are 0.70cu/ft. I have 7.5" in mounting depth. I can't change any of these factors because I don't have room in my 300zx.

I currently have two Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.1's. They have dissapointed me a bit thus far in output, but SQ was good so I looking for a SQ type sub with maybe better output. I am mainly wondering if running one of the listed subs at 2 ohms would give greater output. If not, I will just keep what I have got.

You can see the boxes I have here: http://cgi.ebay.com/Custom-Subwoofer-Boxes-for-Nissan-300ZX-Coupes-Z32_W0QQitemZ250221827517QQihZ015QQcategoryZ50565QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I looked at the SSA ICON, and it looks about the same as the RE but with a higher RMS handling. It looks like I would be underpowering it.

I think I am going to go with the RE SE or the FI SSD in a sealed box and throw 685w.

Only questions is I cannot run 1 ohm, so for the FI, I would need to get the dual 1 ohm and run them in series correct?

I say put 600rms per infinity. if you like the SQ just double the power going to them and you will gain plenty of output.
I don't have 600rms to go to both. It is 300rms to those or 600rms to one of the beefier subs listed. Besides, searching shows that Infinity rates their speakers pretty accurately and most who give them more power end up burning them up.

I think I am going to go with the RE SE or the FI SSD
