What sub? JBL or Infinity

Which is the best?

1. JBL GT 120, GTO series, 250 W RMS/ 1000W, for 100$

2. Infinity Reference 1230w, 300 W RMS/ 1200W, for 116$

3. Infinity Kappa 120.3se, 300 W RMS/ 1200W, for 130$

4. JBL Power P1200, 280 W RMS, for 120$

Which gives more powerfull bass (SPL). I will put it in vented box.

Infinity Kappa has good SQ but JBL is better for SPL.

The JBL power series will most likely give higher SPL numbers in a vented enclosure. However, for SQ, I would get Infinity References... you can usually find them at a good deal like 2 for 100 bucks or something.

I'm personally in favour of the infinity's, they sound great, and can be had for dirt cheap if you look around...

sounddomain.com has 2 infinity reference 12" for $150 shipped!!!! I'm like you can't decide if i should get that or not. my other choice would have been 1 RE SE 10". good luck on the quest

If you want to ge the JBL P1200, I would just get the RE SE's instead.

These subs will outperform the JBL's in every way. The JBL's will get loud, but not like the SE's.

The P1220 is a very good sub. 400wrms (under rated) with a peak of 1600w.

Where can I see a P1200 at? $120 is quite a bit cheaper then the what the P1220 cost.
