Sub Woofer wiring assistance needed for 2021 Highlander with JBL system

Question. 2021 Highlander with JBL system. I was planning to add a sub woofer to existing setup. How do I connect a DVC 2 ohm / 8 in sub woofer to the existing speaker outputs. The existing speaker has 2 sets of wires (4 wires) going to speaker. Do I just connect each set of wires to each voice coils.
Thanks for any feedback

Attempting to add this speaker Rockford Fosgate P3SD2-8

I found photo of what my sub-woofer possibly looks like. I have not removed my yet but this was from a Highlander as well

You will need a LOC, you can then splice into the left and right speaker wire and connect to amp for the subwoofer.
I'd strongly recommend the DD Audio BSI, it's a LOC, Line Driver and Bass Restorer all in one.
But you can get the Audiocontrol LC2i Pro and wave tech bass restore also.

You will need to convert the signal to RCA, and definitely need an amp.
