If looking for SPL why are you looking at SEALED.

But of those two, the 18 is gonna move more air.

It depends on your definition of good. It will operate on 600 watts, if that is your question. You will probably hear it playing.

Why are you so bent on sealed. Build your own ported box for the RE. Get some plans from one of the box builders on here for cheap and go buy some wood and glue. The subs in your 2 choices are best in ported boxes. Especially the Solo X. Like pretty much everything Kicker makes but the Solo Classics. Don't do sealed man. You're going to be disappointed.
