What should my next car be?

Maybe coasting downhill. After I see timeslips, and some sort of proof of that mileage, I CALL TOTAL BS. Also, please explain how you think a RWD with 300+ HP and even more torque, can be remotely good in winter...
I ran 12's in my Camaro on street tires, might have made 11's with street legal slicks. I don't have a scanner or I'd post a timeslip. Regardless, I prefer my V6 Challenger, grabs a lot more attention.

Just saw your profile says you're 17. If that's true, just a word of advice. Car payments ****. You said your current car is an old beater but if I were you I would ride that thing out for as long as possible. If I were you I would just save some money up and pay cash for an older vehicle, by older I mean like 2000-2003 ish maybe. Because judging by the type of car you want your insurance is probably going to be pricey and then combine that with the car payments it's going to ****. Just my experience.
Also very true...im telling you the sable :p

I am 19, not sure why this forum doesnt automatically update that, but whatever. Anyways, I feel I will be making more than enough to manage the car payments and insurance. I wont be rich by any means, but I will be making from 17-23 dollars an hour, which IMO is decent for being 19 and not going to school.

And are you telling me you got 30+ MPG in the Camaro like that other guy? I believe he runs in the 12s, just dont believe he gets 34 MPG.

Nah, I'd guess I got 10 mpg or less in mine. It drank gas like a wino drinks Thunderbird, but I may have had more done to mine than he did his. I'd say stock MIGHT get 15 mpg, maybe, if you stayed out of the gas.

Ok so decent MPG's are important, comfort is important, quickness is important to an extent, and its not really important if you have a car thats common. Grand Prix fits all of those to a T and has a shit load of aftermarket support if you decide to venture down that road later.

Exactly my point, but either way, if I were to get a RWD car, it wouldnt be a Camaro, or a Challenger, no offense. I would probably go for a couple year old German car, or maybe a Genesis coupe, but I dont want rwd for a daily car.

Do your thing then dude. I don't know your financial situation as far as bills, rent etc. but I know from experience that a lot of young people (myself included) don't really fully think about the financial part of buying a car. There's far better uses for money for 18-20 year olds than having a nice car.

Grand Prixs dont get very good gas mileage though, I want like 22-24 MPG average at least or somewhere around there. I know this is nothing outstanding, but better than the 18 I get in my T-Bird. Also, they are big and bulky, ugly IMO, and not very quick. Also they are just FWD AFAIK. AWD is another thing I would like, and so is a manual ******...

I live in the deep south, so RWD isn't an issue. I'm from Upstate NY, my daily driver was full time 4wd then. RWD+snow=not good.

We are renting my girls parents upstairs apartment at the moment til we get into our new jobs. We plan on getting our own apartment, which from the looks of it will be around 600 a month with all utilities. We will both be bringing home about 400 a week, working 3 days a week. Then after 3 months we will be full time bringing home around 650-700 a week each. Thats about 2600 a month each that we will be bringing home. I figured 400 a month for a car payment, 300 for insurance, about 600 for rent/food/etc...That leaves me with around 1300 a month for whatever I need, such as gas, subwoofers(LOL) etc. Oh and the 600 I said for rent/food/etc is just for me, my girl will be paying the same, so thats actually 1200 a month total, which sounds normal in my opinion...

Explain how AWD is gonna do any good in the snow if the bumper is 2-3 inches from the ground? \

As for my gas mileage, @ 75 mph in 6th gear the engine turns 1300 RPM. It's an overdrive gear for highway driving.

Stock LS1 F-bodys are 28-30 mpg (6-speed manual) ...mine has exhaust, tune, headers, & other things that help gas mileage.

As for the power, more like 300 RWHP stock
